The Eric Keyes "Rhinos"
will play a massive role in getting the roll out about Eric and his
music. The overall goal of the campaign is to introduce Eric and
his music to as many fans as possible and establish his identity
by encouraging people to visit his website, come to a live show or
buy a CD.
You will find a variety of materials available here for you to promote
with and help us with our campaign. If Eric has a show coming up
in your area, you can download flyers from the website to hang up
around your campus, record stores and cafes (we suggest using a printer
from your school, as it’s normally free). For those of you who want
to get more aggressive with your marketing, we will have postcards,
stickers, posters and photos available for you to give out. You will
be able to fill out a request form on the website for promotional
materials, and we will get the stuff right out to you. If you need
more extensive materials like full-sized posters or promo CD’s,
please e-mail us at rhinos@doilie.com and
we will do our best to help you.
If you would like to take it to the next level, you can act as an
outlet for people to actually purchase Eric’s album, “Wake
Up”. Send a check or make an online payment for $30 (half the
cost of the CD’s , we take care of shipping) and we will then
send you 5 copies of “Wake Up”. You sell the CD’s
for $12.00, while keeping $2.00 per CD for yourselves and sending
the remaining ($20.00) back to Doilie Records. This means that you
make $10.00 for every 5 copies you sell plus points to redeem in
our benefits program.
You can always start with more than 5 CD’s, just send half the
payment up front. When you run out of CD’s and have paid off
your balance, you can always request more CD’s. Also remember,
you can send back unsold CD’s at any time you would like.
If you have any innovative ideas of your own, please feel free to
e-mail us with your suggestions. We are always looking to sharpen
the saw and are open to new ideas…
PLEASE REMEMBER…when distributing materials at the store or
venue you are going to, that business is always right. If they ask
you not to put things up, and not to distribute PLEASE HONOR THEIR
REQUEST. The last thing we want to do is create any awkwardness towards
Eric from these places.
